Moxieheal Foundation

On a day dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for the significance of mental health, MoxieHeal Foundation, in collaboration with Disha College, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, organized an impactful event on World Mental Health Day. The primary aim of this activity was to emphasize the importance of mental health and spread awareness about it within the college community and beyond.

Inspiring Speeches: The event commenced with an inspiring and knowledgeable speech delivered by Mr. Kirti Kumar Patel, the President of MoxieHeal Foundation and Dr. A.K. Tiwari, Principal of Disha College, Mrs. A. Pooja Narayan (HOD) department of management, Md. Shohaib Pasha (Head Career Counseling & Placement), and Ms. Shivangi Dubey (Anchor) of Disha College, Raipur (C.G.). During their address, they discussed the importance of mental well-being, offered valuable insights, and shed light on the stigmas associated with mental health issues. Both of their speeches sought to motivate and encourage individuals to place mental health as a priority.

 

Educational Address by the College Principal: The Principal of Disha College also gave a motivating and informative address. His statements emphasized the need of treating mental health challenges in the academic setting, emphasizing the necessity for a caring and inclusive atmosphere for students and faculty. The campus community was urged to take the initiative to promote mental wellness by his speech.

Valuable Insights from Volunteers: Volunteers from Disha College, Ms. Aditi Patel, Ms. Harshita Bakshi, Mr. Priyansh Kesharwani, and Moxieheal, Mr. Rohit Kumar and Ms. Minal Karhatkare, actively engaged in the program, giving their personal stories and opinions concerning mental health. These volunteers were helpful in increasing awareness and reducing the stigma connected with mental illness through their emotional words. Their inputs were essential in making the message more understandable to the audience.
