Five Days of Change: Moxieheal Foundation’s World NGO Day Celebration

Event Overview: –

On the occasion of World NGO Day, Moxieheal Foundation organized a five-day series of events to celebrate this significant day. The initiative focused on raising awareness and encouraging community participation in Healthcare, Education, and the Environment.

Event 1 – Teamwork & Climate Change Awareness (February 21, 2025)

Location: Shaskiy Uchtar Madhyamik Shala, Raipur, Chhattisgarh

The first event highlighted the importance of teamwork in combating climate change. The program was supported by Mrs. Leena Chandrakar (Teacher) and other educators.

Mr. Rohit Kumar (Social Worker) addressed the students on:

  • Understanding climate change and its impacts.
  • Local and global effects of climate change.
  • Practical steps to mitigate climate change collectively.
  • The role of teamwork in addressing environmental challenges.

To reinforce the message, an interactive Five-Legged Challenge activity was conducted, enhancing team coordination, problem-solving, patience, and logical thinking. Students not only learned about climate change but also built stronger connections with Moxieheal Foundation.

Event 2 – Nukkad Natak on Climate Change (February 22, 2025)

Location: Daganiya Bazar and Anupam Garden in Raipur

The Nukkad Natak on Climate Change was performed by  students and local community members actively participated. The play highlighted issues like deforestation, water wastage, and pollution in a simple and interactive manner. With powerful slogans and audience involvement, the event inspired both students and locals to adopt small changes for a sustainable future.

The act depicted:

  • The harmful effects of deforestation, water wastage, and pollution.
  • The urgent need to protect our planet.

The performance concluded with students holding placards and chanting impactful slogans like “Prakriti Bachao, Bhavishya Bachao” (Save Nature, Save the Future).

Event 3 – Online Awareness Campaign on Tobacco (February 23, 2025)

An online awareness campaign was launched to highlight the harmful effects of tobacco consumption.

  • Flyers were specially designed and circulated digitally to spread the message: “Say No to Tobacco.”
  • The campaign aimed to educate the community about the health hazards of tobacco, including cancer, heart disease, and respiratory issues.
  • The initiative reached a wide audience through social media platforms, ensuring the message of prevention reached youth and adults alike.

Event 4 – Digital Championing on Climate Change (February 24, 2025)

To expand outreach, Moxieheal Foundation shared digital posts, photos, and videos of the Nukkad Natak and the Teamwork & Climate Change Awareness program on social media.

  • The objective was to extend the impact beyond the physical events.
  • Online audiences were encouraged to act on climate change and sustainability.
  • Social media engagement created a digital ripple effect for awareness.

Event 5 – Digital & Flyer Distribution Campaigns on Water Conservation (February 25, 2025)

On the occasion of World NGO Day, Moxieheal Foundation conducted a dual awareness initiative focusing on the importance of water conservation.

Digital Campaign

  • An infographic was designed and circulated on social media.
  • Focus areas included groundwater depletion, water scarcity, and sustainable solutions like Moxipits and rainwater harvesting.
  • The campaign reached a large online audience, engaging youth and urban citizens effectively.

Flyer Distribution Campaign

  • Volunteers distributed informative flyers in public places, schools, and communities across Raipur.
  • Flyers carried key messages on water conservation, practical tips for rainwater harvesting, and details of Moxieheal Foundation’s initiatives.

Through these combined efforts, the campaign created both digital and ground-level impact, ensuring that awareness about water conservation reached citizens across diverse sections of society.
