A Community Health Awareness and Free screening Camp is an initiative that provides free basic Health Check-ups such as blood pressure, blood sugar, BMI, and hemoglobin tests while educating people about preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyle practices. These camps help in early detection of diseases and make healthcare accessible to underserved communities.
With an aim to provide affordable healthcare services and essential screenings for the community Moxieheal foundation in collaboration with the Pathos Clinical Pathology Laboratory organized this Community health awareness and Free Health checkup camp. In this camp, we not only provided affordable health check-ups but also offered a range of free health services, including blood pressure monitoring, glucose level (sugar) testing, Body Mass Index (BMI) assessment, hemoglobin level testing, height & weight measurement, and pulse rate monitoring.
To make this Community Health Awareness and Free Screening Camp more impactful and beneficial for a wider community, we conducted a survey to identify the gathering ratio in various areas at different time periods. By analyzing this data, we scheduled and conducted this event during the time zone that ensured maximum community participation.
This Community Health Awareness and Free Health Check-up Camp was conducted at Daganiya Bazar, Raipur, on 4th January 2025. This initiative was dedicated to making primary healthcare services more affordable and accessible, encouraging preventive care, and promoting healthier lifestyle practices among the community for better health awareness and overall well-being.
This Community Free Health Check-up Camp was made possible due to the support from Moxieheal’s social worker, Mr. Rohit Kumar, who spread healthcare awareness among community members, along with healthcare volunteers Mr. Kuleshwar Patel (Healthcare Professional), Mr. Vikas Singh (Phlebotomist), Ms. Jagriti Sahu (Healthcare Professional) and Mr. Chiranjiv Sen (Phlebotomist). They not only conducted tests for the community but also provided healthcare guidance to help individuals take care of themselves as well as their family members.
