On the auspicious occasion of the Foundation Day of Moxieheal Foundation, we endeavored to create a positive impact on society through various initiatives, including free health check-up camps and awareness campaigns. As part of this plan, an awareness session on the harmful effects of drug abuse was organized for students at Government Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Fundhar, with the support and permission of Ms. Astha Saxena, the school in-charge.

In collaboration with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Moxieheal Foundation conducted an impactful session on “Drug-Free India.” The objective was to educate students about the grave consequences of drug addiction and guide them toward a healthier lifestyle.

Highlights of the Event

  • An interactive session discussing the causes of addiction, particularly among youth, including peer pressure, misleading offers, and misuse of easily available substances such as cough syrups, painkillers, and sleeping pills without proper medical prescriptions.
  • Detailed insights on how drug peddlers lure victims with free samples, trapping them into dependency, and later exploiting them for money, illegal activities, or crime.
  • A real-life story shared to illustrate the tragic impact of drug abuse, showing how addiction destroyed a promising student’s life and led to crime and imprisonment.
  • Practical guidance on resisting drugs, making informed decisions, and seeking timely help.
  • A collective pledge by students to remain drug-free and to ensure that no one in their surroundings falls victim to addiction.
